What Is Your Most Embarrassing University Moment?

Not a few freshmen students would wish they disappear whenever they hear this cringe-making moment. It was the eve of the first day of the term, when their would-be housemates were there. Their parents accompanied them, along with other stuff. Some were stupefied, while others were green with envy. You regretted it few weeks later. How you wished Dad didn't bring the mini fridge, which would be the reason your housemates kept on visiting your room. (Not that you didn't like the attention, but you were distracted many times.) And how he carpeted your room, while Mom looked thrilled. You heard snickers.

Awkward experience could be a turning point, like your poor selection of courses during the first year. It would be fun to reminisce it. You couldn't be one of those students who knew every assignment and examination. We asked tens of college students, and former students, and came up with this hilarious short list. Get ready to laugh:

Darn that pigeon. You had an examination, where you would analyze a poem. You went to bed early and did a pep talk. Some things were beyond your control, though. A pigeon doing his thing was one of those unexpected moments. You cursed the lovely morning when you sensed something on your head. And you had long hair. You didn't succeed in removing the dropping in the rest room. Your coursemates looked at your wet hair, while your professor wondered if there was rainfall.

Naughty housemates. You would give in to their request, sooner or later. University would be incomplete without getting stoned. It could be a sweet soul who carried you from the pub to the dormitory, unable to recall the number of times you threw up. It may be the drizzle, which woke you up in the garden. The landlady (from the other house) gave you a disapproving look. But a razor would be something else. Headache greeted you the next morning. You found yourself in the common living room. And then you noticed the shaved eyebrow (above your left eye). You didn't mind, as you figured out it was cool. You craved for attention, but you got more than you wished for. Some stared at you after the practice. They noticed shaved lines below your belly button. Pen marker on your body would be worse.

Some first date. One of the best things about college life was the chance to meet foreign students. You would make, and break, new friends. One guy had a foreign accent or so your thought. He had been to some parts of the world. You were impressed. You fell for him. You were excited when he brought you to his room. And then your world came crashing down. He showed you a ring, which was his commitment to abstinence. You shuddered at his small collection of elephant figurines. He talked about religion. In his underwear. You wished you were having a good time with your housemates.
